NEST: Strengthening Ecosystems for Social Innovation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How can local ecosystems be better equipped to address societal challenges? In the European NEST project, partners from six countries are exploring and experimenting with social innovation ecosystems. THRIVE contributes its expertise in community building and societal impact to help strengthen these ecosystems and accelerate meaningful change.<\/p>

Fragmentation<\/h3>

Social innovation exists everywhere\u2014from grassroots initiatives to impact-driven start-ups. Yet, efforts often remain fragmented and lack structural support. Cities and regions struggle to connect key actors\u2014government, academia, entrepreneurs, and citizens\u2014into resilient ecosystems for sustainable change.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mapping local ecosystems<\/h3>

Within NEST, we map social innovation ecosystems in six European regions. We analyse strengths, gaps, and opportunities for stronger collaboration. In Rotterdam, THRIVE is investigating how social innovators can be better supported.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
