Developed tools that map impact enterprises and help entrepreneurs hire people with a distance to the labor market.
Together with Voor Goed Agency, we mapped Rotterdam’s social enterprise landscape to identify opportunities for growth and increased impact. We continuously seek ways to better support entrepreneurs with knowledge-based solutions that boost both their development and reach.
Two instruments were developed: the Impact Enterprises Map and the GoedAannemen010.The Impact Enterprise Map visualises the social enterprise field for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and citizens in Rotterdam. The GoedAannemen010 tool guides SMEs in increasing labor participation by identifying steps to employ people with untapped potential.
By translating the experiences of social entrepreneurs into practical tools, we help make Rotterdam more inclusive. The tools expand the reach of social enterprises and encourage mainstream SMEs to adopt social practices.
Together with Voor Goed Agency, we are embedding the research-based tool into existing entrepreneurial networks. The updated GoedAannemen010.nl now offers an accessible way for companies to hire “OP-workers” (jobseekers with untapped potential) in a city where over 30,000 people lack suitable work.
