THRIVE hosted a tour across the Netherlands with renowned South African wilderness guide Alan McSmith.
The main goal of the Alan McSmith Tour was to actively inspire people and engage them in deep reflection on ecological challenges. Initiating constructive dialogues about our relationship with the environment was at the heart of this effort.
Alan McSmith headlined multiple Dutch events, ranging from live gatherings at unique indoor and outdoor locations to a special On Purpose episode in the dunes of Zandvoort and an interview at Pakhuis de Zwijger. In each event, Alan took his audience on an inspiring journey into the world of natural leadership.
We welcomed countless visitors to the events featuring Alan McSmith. Both the On Purpose broadcast at Circl and the Pakhuis de Zwijger interview continue to attract significant online attention. The ambition to inspire listeners with Alan’s story of natural leadership has been more than fulfilled, as reflected in the extraordinary responses we received.
The Alan McSmith Tour was the third tour organized by THRIVE, following the Trebeck Takes Over Holland Tour (2020) and the Fullerton Takes Over Tour (2021). In 2024, a new series featuring another internationally renowned speaker is planned.
